The Vandergrift Main Street Program is in Year 3 and has been officially designated by DCED. The Vandergrift Improvement Program’s mission is to protect, preserve, and restore the strength of the existing community both in its central business district and residential neighborhoods. The Vandergrift Improvement Program is working hard to restore key buildings downtown. To date, the VIP has acquired 3 buildings on Grant Avenue. Progress is being made at 143 Grant Avenue. See the before and after pictures.
