The Vandergrift Main Street Program is in Year 3 and has been officially designated by DCED. The Vandergrift Improvement Program’s mission is to protect, preserve, and restore the strength of the existing community both in its central business district and residential neighborhoods. Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation and the tour guides from the Victorian Vandergrift Museum & Historical Society organized a walking tour of Vandergrift on Saturday, Oct. 13th. There were 45 people on the tour, including a reporter from the Post-Gazette. Everyone enjoyed their time in Vandergrift. Thanks to everyone who made this possible!
